The Mello Cafe & Bakery
The Mello: Cafe & Bakery is more then just a cookbook containing the delicious Portuguese recipies of my grandparents, it is a collection of stories, ideals and ways of life from the past that should be taught and passed down through generations. This is a bible of culture and cuisine for those who read it.
This project consists of nineteen pages of a cookbook with a cover and nine spreads. It has narrative and recipe spreads which tell the stories and ideals of family oriented culture as well as giving detailed instructions on how to bake/cook the food.
